A stunning spring celebration

By Bride and Groom 24 August 2018

Rain on your wedding day is considered good luck and fortunately for Meg Stonehouse and Jarrod Minogue, the showers cleared in time for their relaxed outdoor ceremony, witnessed by family and friends at The Woolshed @ Emerald Bank.

Beautiful blooms

Bold proteas were the standout feature of the stunning bouquets, which also featured leucadendron, seasonal white flowers and blue gum leaves. The colours were the perfect contrast to the bride’s white gown and bridesmaids’ knee-length burgundy dresses.

Meg and Jarrod created a lasting keepsake on their wedding day by encouraging their guests to write their names on small timber love hearts and placing them in a glass-fronted frame, which is now displayed in their living room.

Romantic meeting

When the bride and groom attended mutual friends as maid of honour and best man, they never dreamed they would meet their soulmate.  From that initial meeting the couple started dating and eventually Jarrod surprised Meg with a romantic marriage proposal watching the sunset, while overlooking the Yarra Valley.

We love: The gold-leaf and flower cake-detailing.
