Following a romantic proposal while on holiday in Tasmania, Danica Kiely and Stefan Vukicevic sealed their love with an emotional garden wedding ceremony at the bride’s parents’ home in Moama. The nearby Murray River, with its ancient and majestic trees, was the perfect backdrop for their stunning formal photos.
The classic combination of green and white with a hint of pink created an elegant backdrop for the November marriage of Danica and Stefan. “Mum and Dad’s garden was always our first choice to have our ceremony, so we went for a greenery-based theme to incorporate the countryside of Moama,” Danica said.
The couple paid homage to Stefan’s family’s Bosnian heritage by incorporating music from the European country on the playlist for their wedding reception. The family enjoyed celebrating with their traditional style of dance, and the reception was enhanced further through dramatic lighting which resembled fireworks.
“The most memorable part of the day would have to be the ceremony,” Danica said. “Walking out to Stefan, I’ll never forget. The live saxophone and keyboard music as I was walking down the aisle really gave the ceremony a heart-warming vibe, and an emotional one at that. We decided to do our own vows but to keep them a surprise. To exchange those touching words to each other was so special.”
We love: The romantic attire and styling.
