Jenna Fullard and Tom Laughlin’s wedding day fell on AFL grand final day and the event added to the excitement of the celebrations.
The couple embraced the occasion by setting up a big-screen TV to ensure the invited guests didn’t miss out on the game.
Jenna chose a place close to her heart ‑ her family’s farm at Bamawm ‑ for her romantic marriage ceremony to Tom.
“Getting ready and married at the house I grew up in was amazing. The garden was just beautiful and made our day perfect,” Jenna said.
The bride and groom first met in 2005 when they were both working at the art deco-style Echuca Paramount.
Jenna and Tom used the cinema programs from the week they became engaged, as novel confetti cone holders, filled with blue gum leaves.
Pop of navy
Bold navy trim was the perfect contrast for the three-tiered, round wedding cake, which was topped with flowers and finished with on-trend smooth and textured frosting.
The three layers had different, delectable flavours ‑ caramel, orange and poppy seed and red velvet chocolate.
Jenna and Tom's rustic DIY signs added to the country charm.
