Despite it being an overcast day, Daniel Forge convinced Robyn Hair to go bushwalking at one of their favourite places, Mt Major near Dookie, in April 2015.
As the sun broke through the clouds, and overlooking beautiful farm land, Daniel asked Robyn to marry him, and 18 months later they celebrated their special day.
“After dinner Daniel invited me to walk out to the deck and take a moment, just the two of us. We enjoyed the time together to smile about the special day that we’d had and we looked back on a room full of our favourite people having a great time,” Robyn said.
“It was a special moment as husband and wife”
A major consideration for Robyn and Daniel during their wedding planning was ensuring their guests had a good time.
“When picking a venue it was important that is could accommodate both the ceremony and reception. The Olivehouse was perfect for this and the beautiful gardens meant that we didn’t need to leave for photographs, so we could spend more time with our guests,” Robyn said.
The bride’s elegant gown featured ivory lace over light gold, a sheer back finished with buttons and a chapel-length train, perfectly complemented by a fingertip-length veil and bouquet of white roses and peonies edged with eucalyptus leaves.
