Setting up the perfect Christmas tree is a time-honoured tradition for Rebecca Braybon, but when Terry Pryde pulled out a silver bauble with the words ‘Will you marry me?’ on it he made it even more special.
After six years together the couple was married in an elegant winery wedding.
Sharing a special moment with father Glenn proved memorable for Rebecca. “My dad was amazing on the way, he was so relaxed which kept my nerves calm and set the tone for the day,” she said.
“I thought I would get quite nervous and shaky in the car, but I didn’t because of Dad and that I knew Terry was there waiting for me.”
Embracing the romantic vineyard backdrop, the couple created a rustic and elegant vibe with natural timbers, delicate florals and vibrant greenery.
The ceremony featured a simple wooden arch complete with soft-hued blossoms, while the reception’s timber tables were topped with flower garlands.
The kids' table
The younger guests were well catered for on the night, with the kids’ table boasting bubbles, note pads for drawing and lots of games.
“We wanted to make it fun for them – they had some games and cameras to play with,” Rebecca said.
