It was a rainy October day when Sarah Kalafatis married Dustin Barolli but when the time came to walk down the aisle the sun broke through the clouds.
After four years together the pair was wed in a romantic garden ceremony surrounded by timeless beauty.
When it came to décor Sarah opted for classic romance, styling the celebration with roses while the bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids and flower girl wore extravagant white dresses.
“I had everything white as I think it’s timeless,” Sarah said.
“I also had candles everywhere in the room to set a romantic vibe for our guests.”
Big family love
For Sarah and Dustin it was important to involve as many of members of their large families as possible, with the bridal party entirely made up of their beloved siblings and cousins.
Sarah always knew she wanted Steven Khalil to make her dress.
Designed just for her she, said the lace gown dotted with pearls and Swarovski crystals was as beautiful as she ever could have imagined.
“When I first went to go see Steven I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but when he sketched my dress and showed me the details I knew it would be perfect,” she said.
“He knew exactly what I wanted even though I wasn't sure myself.”
Spell it out
A monogram of the pair’s initials on the invitations set the scene for the celebrations to come.
The minimalist design mirrored the spotted lace of Sarah’s dress and continued throughout the day in the menus and a giant acrylic sign hung behind the bridal table.
