Tantalising the taste buds

Whether you have chosen a cocktail reception, a three course sit down dinner or something in-between, menus can get guests excited about the meal to come.

They also provide an opportunity to give guests extra information.

Menus can be used to incorporate special details about the food you are about to share – did the ingredients come from the family farm or was dessert made using grandma’s secret recipe?

While it is simple to cater for dietary requirements during an alternative drop, menus can act as a guide if you are planning to include share plates or a dessert bar for example.

Menu cards

Despite often being overlooked when ordering the wedding suite, individual menus are not only practical but add a touch of class to a place setting.

They can easily be designed in theme with the other stationary and to suit any décor style.

Valley Bride Jackie took a rustic approach to her menus to suit the timber centerpieces, while for cohesion Valley Bride Carly was inspired by the simplistic greenery design she had already used for her invitations.

Make a statement

For something a little different, brides are opting to display one large menu.

While Valley Bride Anna wrote out her tapas style menu on butcher’s paper and hung it on a repurposed door, Valley Bride Malinda had her alternative drop options displayed on a timber pallet.

With wooden boards, mirrors and chalkboards, just to name a few; the options are endless.
