A simple wedding with an air of romance

By Bride and Groom 13 October 2017

After 10 years together, Teigan Bathman and James Morris shared their vows in the picturesque gardens of Brown Brothers Winery. The simpler wedding was accented by deep reds, adding an extra air of romance to the day, and a red rose petals showered down on the couples as they were pronounced husband and wife.

Family love

Teigan shared the walk down the aisle with both her parents, and said it was very important to her to have them both by her side. “They’re both such a huge part of my life and they both raised me, so I wanted both of them there,” she said.

Perfect song

When the bride walked down the aisle to Angels by The XX, she said it was something she’d had in mind for a number of years. “It came on the radio one day and I listened to it and thought ‘that’s the song I’m going to walk down the aisle to’. And that was that,” Teigan said.

Mixed emotions

For Teigan, her wedding day was full of emotions, from the morning getting ready, to walking out the door to marry The One. “(I was) feeling so overwhelmingly happy, excited, anxious and in love,” she said. “Nothing to date has beaten any of the feelings I felt on our wedding day.”
