With beautiful blooms, a dreamy marquee and a caravan bar setting the scene, Malinda Randall and Ashley Round had a truly beautiful wedding. The couple holds fondly in their hearts the memory of dancing the night away alongside loved ones in their vintage and bohemian-styled wedding.
Ashley and Malinda both love the colour blue, so they chose to incorporate it into their day. The men donned dark blue suits, which complemented the baby blue of the bridesmaids' dresses and the pageboys' dapper attire. Malinda's bouquet and Ashley's boutonniere also had a touch of blue, and the colour was continued in the reception décor too.
A relaxed garden wedding was the order of the day, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy the tranquil surrounds while celebrating the couple's love for one another. Matching the décor with the chilled-out vibe, they opted for wooden pallets, wine barrels and chalkboard signs. “The location and set-up for the reception was spectacular,” Malinda said.
“Surround yourself with those you love, choose what you really love and make sure you step back and take it all in on the day whenever you can,” Malinda said.
As the first wedding for both of their immediate families, Malinda said they wanted to involve as many loved ones as possible. Their nieces and nephews excitedly stood by their side as flower girls and pageboys. The newlyweds also honoured the relationships of their grandparents who have passed away, adding their wedding photos to the seating plan so they could symbolically be together for the milestone.
